Housing

The new house was insulated this week and sheet rock was installed yesterday.
The brick is almost finished as well.

It really looks good.
(But hey, we selected the colors, so, of course it looks good!)

We intended to paint the old house today.
(Again, great colors)
But with the lack of maintenance over the years, we have discover many places with exposed wood and dry rot...

I do not have the skills nor the time to make the repairs myself, so it's time to break out the check book.

I am concerned about the $$$ side of things.
If we can get it rented, we can make good cash flow on it.
It's just a matter of getting it financed...

Then there is the closing costs for the new place...

Ah the joys if money and servitude...
