End of the year...

One more has come and gone...

Zelda Pinwheel was delightful!
She stopped by and I spent a pleasant day showing her the town.
Weather couldn't have been any better, and it was December at that!
We did the Nasher,
Chuy's,
the DMA,
and of course
Snuffer's.
We also got in a little shopping.
All before she had to go home.

Nice putting a face and person with the name!
(She is much cuter in person. Great eyes! And I must say, the "girls" were looking good as well! *snicker*)
Just doing my part for a fellow blogger!!! (helps that she' s a Texan by birth!)
She brought along a nice gift as well.

And no, we didn't make it to the gay bar! (there is always next time)

(Nice change of pace from three years ago when on the same date,
my mother died.)

ABC News named us, bloggers, as one of it's "Person's of the Year". Of course they were refering to the bloggers who made political statements, overthrew politicians, and made large corporate news companies wake up and pay attention to the individual with something important to say.
*****

Now it's back to the old grind...
ahem..

Work starts back up Monday. Or should I say, starts up new? Since it is a "new" year.

Always struck me funny that.

Change a number at the end of the date and it's "new". I suppose it's all a part of conditioning. Get you to believe that one day from the last is a complete "year" away and you can sell someone anything!
"New" car anyone?

Interesting blog Zelda told me about.
"A taste of the good wife".
She is a horny stay at home wife who writes some very nice erotica. (The Good Wife, not Zelda.)(.Though she does resemble some of that statement). They are well paced, descriptive enough for the guys, and revolve around the woman and her passion.

In her stories,
the lovers,
er,
come together,
as in most erotica.
But unlike my reality,
limited as it is,
all the body parts fit easily and perfectly together
the first time.
And everything *ahem* works like God intended.

I guess I miss the giggling
and laughter
and some
frustration,
of making a new lover (see "limitted" above).

The other women I have... uh...
snuggled with,
yeah,
snuggled with,
(this aims to be a family safe blog you know!!)
involved large "happy feelings" that seem to get lost in standard porn.
(guess it helps if you like/know your partner!)
Even in the good films, it all works on cue.
(And what's up with the cum scenes?
Like really I CARE to watch a guy orgasm?! I can see that any day of the week! Let's see the woman's response!!!)

Kind of like death scenes. (Hmm. the "little death")
"Rolling! Action! 'gasp, cough, cough, I.... I..... loovveee youuuuu, [die]', Okay! Cut! and Print!)
Doesn't work so nice and neatly in reality.
But I guess the snikering, "am I in?"
(very obvious from her reaction,
ah, if one pays (or if one *can* pay) attention)
and "opps!"
are "too personal" for the masses.
That's not really what Porn is for now is it?
"I want mine! I want it NOW! So get to the point!!" Must be why I prefer authentic amateur work.

My Med Dr. has refered me to a specialist for my HSV2. Switched to valacyclovir (Valtrex, modified acyclovir anti viral. The phamacuticals don't actually spend the large sums they claim, they just take an old successful drug that is about to go off patent, tweak it a little, patent that, and rake in the $$$$$$$. "AARP" has a great article about where the research comes from and where the money goes. Most of the new drugs are developed at Publically Funded, Tax Payer Expence Grant Monies, at American Universities, which are paid fractions of a cent on the dollor for their work. I'll have to dig up that article and post it, with permission of course!)
Give credit where credit is due!

Recent tests have shown anti viral properties on Cranberries and broccoli. One test the cells were 99.99% protected (the broccoli). Found at http://my.webmd.com/content/Article/73/88989.htm The other can be found at http://my.webmd.com/content/Article/95/103387.htm

Happy "New Year" y'all.

See you later Zelda!
